Beach day break for Los, in between his continued daily physical / occupational / speech therapies! So great seeing him get his toes in the water again with his family, sharing smiles and laughs! All of your prayers and donation support has been such a huge part in getting Los to where he is at today, and the Bentleys are so grateful for you all. There’s still a long road of recovery ahead — with working to get Los walking, talking, paying off hospital bills not covered by insurance, and providing the Bentley fam with groceries and a roof over their head while they cheer on their dad/husband each day. Los continues his daily push for recovery! We are so grateful for this community of family and friends that continue to encourage Los every day. The progress may be slow, but it is steady and inspiring! God’s not done with Los’ story — and we’ll continue to cherish these daily victories. Let’s go, Los!! 🙏💯 #loveforlos @defineptwellness 💪
A reminder, and to also help answer some of the questions we’ve been getting — about how / where to help Charlos and his family via donation support…. The best avenue and platform continues to be through the Love For Los Foundation, where you can choose how your donation support is used… www.loveforlos.org/how-to-support The Love For Los Foundation has been set up and registered as a recognized 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, and will provide all donors with a tax-deductible receipt. So far, with your donation support — we have been able to get Los into specialized rehab + therapy every day of the week (beyond what insurance covers), and help Los & Brooke with their housing rent this year. With that being said, there is still a long recovery journey ahead, they are still dealing with ongoing legal battles, and are still strapped with $1m+ hospital bills from his stay in the ICU where he spent months fighting for his life. We will all continue to trust in the Lord’s timing and provision, and are so grateful for the daily progression and healing we continue to witness with Los and his recovery journey. 🙏 Charlos, Brooke and their family are so thankful for your continued prayers and support.
