Urgent prayer request and update: We are so grateful for the fast life-saving actions of Brooke, Chloe, Chase and the local San Juan Capistrano Fire Dept 🙏 Los had a food-choking incident during Christmas Eve with the family.  The Fire Dept was there within minutes to take over for Brooke’s after her heimlich maneuver attempts, and they were able to clear his airway and remove the food blockage with forceps (medical pliers)… but not before Los lost consciousness — which required him to be rushed to the hospital via ambulance.   An overnight Christmas Eve stay in the ICU under sedation + [...]

Charlos Update And Progress Thank you all for the ongoing support, prayers and helping hands as Charlos and his family settle back into to life outside of the hospital.  This past week, Charlos was able to get down to one of his favorite spots - San Onofre!  He was able to get his toes back in the sand, cheer on his wife and friends on the vball court, and enjoy a beautiful day with all his buddies. Los is home! 🙏 Los and his family have settled back in south Orange County.  The community rallied and came together to make some last-minute ADA adjustments to their new spot, and friends and neighbors continue to make sure they are comfortable and settling in smoothly. Brooke is hard at work dialing Los in with his new local PT sessions, setting up his doctors appt’s, and getting the kiddos back into their local school routine.
