Doctor update, Tues 6/3 9:30am
A good night of rest.
Fluid in chest X-ray looking better today. Not much fluid showing on latest chest scan. Doctor was happy with progress there.
Vitals are good and are stable this morning.
Today will focus on two main goals…
Continue to adjust ratios on meds/sedation to find the levels that Los’s body reacts well to, with the goal to continue to try and wake him up… but to ease off the sedation very slowly. They will start by very slowly weaning off the Dex right now and start to watch how he reacts to it throughout the rest of the morning.
Doctor said all else looking ok, and as expected this morning.
The Drs. and Nurses are also recommending only 1 visitor at a time right now. This is key to keep his stimulation down at this time.
