2hrs on CPAP yesterday. Doctors are hoping to see that turn around today and start going back the other direction with longer progressions in the days ahead. They will try CPAP and the ergo-bike again this morning and see how Los does. Doctor outlined and reminded us that this is a long process of healing, as they work with Los hour by hour, day by day.
Dex (sedation med) is still off. Some occasional posturing / flexion off and on. But overall Los looks comfortable, and his blood pressure and heart rate are back closer to normal. 🙏 Los continues to occasionally blink and open his eyes halfway off and on this morning (dazed state).
White cell count up this morning to 15 (from 10.3 yesterday morning). Lungs continue to look good and clear on the XRay. But doctors are doing some tests and will monitor this item very closely today.
Prayers for today…. For Los’ continued rest + strength, for doctors to be able to pinpoint the cause for white blood cell spike, for a good “workout” day on CPAP + bike, and for continued patience in God’s healing power.
We will wait for the Lord… we will put our hope in Him. 🙏
