AM update from the Bentley family:
Most of yesterday was very hard for Charles with Neuro storming and high temperatures. That came down later in the afternoon after a lot of hard work by the staff using different methods and medications. Late afternoon and through the night was relatively calm apart from one episode of spiking fever. This morning his temperature is normal, and he is calm.
Doctors have ordered lab work on a few areas to see what the high fevers might be indicating. We should get that back later today.
Charlos is still not awake, but his night nurse did say he seemed to be trying to open his eyes on his own but just hasn’t gotten there yet. He did just open both eyes a bit for a few minutes. We are hopeful and know this takes time and we continue to be grateful for all the progress that we have seen. Please continue to pray with us during this time that the brain is at work healing itself and he will wake up when he is ready.
