Day 55
Charlos was still asleep this morning and having an extended good night of rest. He was responsive to requests or “commands” for movements or tasks. First thing this morning, the PT team brought in the ‘Geri’ chair and Charlos was moved into it for over 30 minutes which he loved! He was sitting up out of bed with his back near straight up, and his feet down towards the floor.
When Timo and Grace arrived, Los was staring hard at his beachside family photo in front of him. As Timo began recounting of his recent trip up to the Big Sur area he quickly shifted his focus on Timo & Grace. He evidently liked all this and gave them the ‘thumbs up’.
Charlos was active and awake into the afternoon and evening with eyes tracking, finger pointing, following commands/requests to open his mouth, squeeze hands, trying to talk with his lips, and blinking responses. He even puckered-up for a goodbye kiss with Brooke!😘
