Update 7:40am from nurse (Kevin)
Trauma surgeon was in early morning and confirmed everything on that side of things continues to look good.
Jaw surgery still on track for 10am today please Pray. Will be wired shut for ~1 month
The plan following surgery (later today and into tomorrow) will be to try and wean him off the sedation meds. Propofol is the main one keeping him sedated and they’re going to start with that one a bit to feel it out and see how he reacts.
Other than that,… another night of solid rest. Another “no news is good news” morning update.
He looks comfortable and pretty dang handsome with his washed, slicked back hair.
