Brooke has been so incredibly grateful for the amount of love and support on this journey thus far.  To take a load off her plate and keep her from feeling overwhelmed we are going to do weekly updates so she doesn’t feel the need to keep up with everyone individually. Since Los landed here in Colorado last Thursday, it has been a busy and productive time for him with help of a lot of wonderful new staff and caregivers. Work began first thing Friday morning with getting fit for his custom wheelchair, which he absolutely loves because he can get out of bed, get fresh air, enjoy some sun, and just get moving. Charlos also had physical therapy (PT), and occupational therapy (OT) sessions Friday and seemed to really enjoy those. Charlos and family have made it to Craig Hospital in Colorado! Los’ sister, Sylvia, accompanied him on the flight with the medical team, while Brooke / Chase / Chloe drove out and got settled in as well. Craig Hospital is a world-renowned rehabilitation hospital that exclusively specializes in neurorehabilitation and research for individuals with spinal cord and brain injuries.  We are all hopeful and excited to see what the Lord has in store for Los in the weeks and months ahead at Craig.
